Kantan & Kangsar, a name derived from our ancestor's hometowns namely Sungai Kantan and Kuala Kangsar, is formed to represent our family's curated interests in hospitality, homeware and lifestyle. Having been brought up within the Malaysian tropical setting and vernacular living, we have been constantly inspired by nature especially when creating habitable spaces that is not only sympathetic to the environment but also to its local context.

     For many years, our family has been interested in designing and procuring pieces of art, antiques and houses, be it through painting, floristry, wood working, sewing, antiques, architecture, and also interior designing. We have decided to cumulate and curate these passions of ours and therefore would love for all of you to join us through stays in our villas, our services of interior and architecture home builds as well as our home decoration items.
